  • Issue with netmask combo fixed on OS X

Publisher review:
Angry IP Scanner is an open source tool that brings both ease of use and fast scanning speeds. It successfully enables you to find IPs based on the desired range.

On top of that, Angry IP Scanner also includes NetBIOS information, such as workgroup, computer and user name, making it much easier to find out more about a network. Moreover, Angry IP Scanner allows you to select your favorite IP ranges and even insert customizable openers.

By accessing the main application's window you will be able to select the IP range or view the hostname. Scan information displays the total time it took to scan the network, the IP range scanned and the number of hosts that were scanned. After the scan is completed, you can easily save the results to multiple formats, such as HTML, CSV, XML, TXT or IP-Portlists.

If you need some advanced tools you can access the Commands menu from where you can restart the scan, delete IP addresses from results, copy IPs or start a dictation.

The application allows you to customize scanning options, which include the delay between starting threads and the maximum number of threads or selecting another pinging method.

From the Ports tab you can change the port connect timeout and specify the ports you want to scan. The application also allows you to customize display results, like what items to view in the results list.
